'I'm Ready' is a collection of contemporary cover songs which were recorded and released while my producer, Gawain Mathews, and I developed the material that would eventually become my debut EP as M. the Heir Apparent. It was over these recordings that he and I learned to collaborate. They represent a personally meaningful chapter of my creative development when he guided me from making the bedroom-studio style recordings I had been up until that time, to the fully-produced and arranged material you hear on my current recordings.
